Our bespoke walnut worktops are designed and hand crafted in-house by our experts from our timber yard and workshop in Plumpton Green, Sussex, just a short drive from London or Brighton.

Our unique and interesting walnut worktops are exclusively constructed using full stave, wide stave slabs that we source from sustainable woodlands and forests across the UK. We then vacuum kiln dry them on-site ensuring stability and protection against warping. We hand pick each plank to suit your chosen environment looking closely at the natural organic markings, cracks and striations of the timber, and gently infusing them with epoxy resin to create stunning glassy smooth surfaces inspired by nature. Our stunning and unique wild walnut worktops are available with a series of different edging choices that add interest and compliment its given surroundings. For a more rural and rustic appeal, we can offer our live or waney edging style which follows the natural shape of the tree, or for a more modern and contemporary feel, we can offer our straight/ square edging style. Alternatively, we can offer our mixed edging which offers a combination of both edging styles.

Whether your desired environment is a modern and contemporary home or a rural and rustic styled cottage, our beautiful full stave worktops are guaranteed to add beauty and interest and with the right finish can be incorporated into commercial premises too such as bars, pubs, restaurants, office spaces and hotels. We offer two main types of finishing, either a clear transparent lacquer which acts as a thick shield against damage and corrosion and works to maintain the original earthy tones and textures. Alternatively, we can use our water-based oil treatment which penetrates the timber and creates multiple protective layers and enhances the natural colouring to create brilliant autumnal tones.

We can also craft your stunning wild walnut worktops alongside our other solid wooden furniture, such as out wild walnut kitchen islands, breakfast bars, shelving, tables and high stools, and when two or more of our products are bought together, we can craft them from the same tree to make a unique bespoke set of matching furniture for your home or business.

We estimate that each of our solid wooden worktops to take around one month to complete, this is because our products are completely bespoke and time consuming. We also like to ensure that each wild walnut worktop is crafted to perfection. Once we are happy with the end result we will contact you and either arrange delivery via our dedicated delivery service, or an appointment for collection from our workshop.
