Our beautiful bespoke earthy wild walnut desk tops are designed and hand-crafted by our experts from our timber yard and workshop in Plumpton Green, Sussex, just a short drive from London or Brighton. With over 25 years of working within the timber industry, we understand what it takes to create a beautiful and unique bespoke piece of furniture that will last for decades. Our wild walnut desk tops are a class example with their elegant earthy grains and warming radiant undertones.

We use stunning wild walnut slabs that we exclusively source from sustainable woodlands across the UK, we then transport the timber to our Sussex based workshop and vacuum kiln dry the timber on-site to ensure stability and longevity. We hand pick each wooden slab taking into account its purpose and desired environment, we look specifically for the natural imperfections, such as the knots, cracks and striations. We then infuse these imperfections with epoxy resin to create stunning glassy details full of interest and earthy charm.

Our beautiful live edge walnut desk tops are available with a variety of different edging choices that reflect a unique style. For a more rural and rustic appeal, we can offer our waney or live edge which follows the natural shape of the tree, or for a more modern and contemporary appeal, we can offer straight or square edging. Alternatively, for a combination of both edging styles, we can offer our mixed edging.

Our unique earthy walnut desk tops are suitable for all environments, whether it be a rustic style workplace or modern office. We can also craft your oak desktops for commercial spaces and businesses. To protect your worksurface, we offer two finishing options. We can finish the surface with a water-based oil which penetrates the timber to create multiple layers of protection. Our oil finish also enhances the natural tones and colourings to create stunning shades of oranges, yellows and golds. Alternatively, for those wishing to retain the original earthy tones, we can offer our lacquer finishing which instead, acts as a thick shield against damage and corrosion.
