About Our Oak Bathroom Shelves

Our unique solid wood oak bathroom shelves are full of character and charm, crafted from our beautiful range of English hardwood, vacuum kiln dried in-house from our timber yard and workshop in Sussex. Our oak bathroom worktops are stunning and bespoke in every way and can be crafted to any shape or size with custom cut-outs upon request. The raw earthy wood textures and colourings are guaranteed to add a strong sense of natural organic beauty to your home or business.

We use earthy oak slabs that we exclusively source from sustainable woodlands across the UK, which we then vacuum kiln dry in-house ensuring long lasting protection against damage and distortion in challenging bathroom environment. Each full-stave, wide-stave slab is individually picked to suit the environment and purpose and is delicately infused with our blend of epoxy resin. This creates stunning glassy details that highlight the natural imperfections of the timber, such as the knots, cracks and striations.

Our live edge bathroom worktops are available with a variety of different edging styles such as waney or live for a more rural rustic appeal, or straight or square for a more modern contemporary approach. Alternatively, we can offer our mixed edging for a combination of both edging styles. As each rustic wood shelf is individually crafted to suit its environment, our bathroom tops will adapt to all environments whether it be a modern and contemporary or a rural cottage style home. With the right finishing, our bathroom shelves are easily adaptable for commercial spaces such as hotels, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops or office spaces.

We provide two main types of finishing after a fine sanding process. Either a transparent lacquer which acts as a strong barrier against damage and distortion or a colour enhancing oil which penetrates the timber creating multiple layers of protection. Our signature wood waterproof finish (suitable for yachts) in natural mat is ideal for bathroom shelves and available on request at an additional cost,

Our bespoke earthy oak bathroom worktops are available to buy with any of our other products such as our live edge oak window sills and seats, or our oak benches. When two or more of our products are bought together, we can craft these from the same tree to make a unique bespoke set of matching furniture for your home or business.

As each of our unique solid wood bathroom shelves are designed and crafted in-house with no other 3^rd parties involved, we like to take time on your product to ensure maximum quality is achieved and to provide you with a surface that you can be proud of. We estimate that each surface will take around 1 month to finish before collection or delivery is available.
