Our beautiful and bespoke rustic oak dresser tops are designed and hand-crafted in-house by our experts from our timber yard and workshop in Plumpton Green, Sussex, just a short drive from London or Brighton. With over 25 years of industry experience, we know how to craft a beautiful piece of oak furniture guaranteed to add interest and a unique sense earthy charm all on an affordable budget.

Our stunning oak dresser tops are crafted using stunning rustic oak slabs that we exclusively source from sustainable forests and woodlands across the UK. We then vacuum kiln dry the timber onsite to ensure protection against natural deformations and to ensure longevity. Each unique full stave, wide stave slab is individually hand picked by us, looking explicitly at its natural imperfections, such as the knots, cracks, voids and striations. We then infuse these with our own blend of epoxy resin to create stunning glassy details giving the impression of ‘frozen like nature’. Our oak cabinet tops are crafted with any of edging styles. Each edging type comes with its own style. For a more rural and rustic appeal, we can offer our live or waney edging which follows the natural shape of the tree, or for a more modern and contemporary feel, we can offer the more traditional straight or square edging. Alternatively, for a more subtle approach to our waney edging, we can offer our mixed edging which combines elements of both edging styles.

Our oak dresser tops are suitable for all types of environments, whether it be a modern and contemporary apartment or a rural and rustic cottage in the countryside. With the right type of finishing we can craft your bespoke oak dresser to suit a commercial environment too, whether it be a show home or hotel. We offer two main finishing options for you to choose from, either a clear or transparent lacquer which acts as a thick shield against damage and corrosion, or a colour enhancing oil which penetrates the layers of the timber to create a oil infused protected surface. Our clear lacquer is most ideal for those wishing to maintain the original earthy tone and colourings.

We can also craft your stunning oak dresser top alongside any of our other oak furniture such as our oak shelving, tables window sets and sills and desks. When two or more of our stunning oak surfaces are commissioned together, we can craft them from the same tree to make a unique bespoke set of furniture for your home or business.

We estimate that each of our solid oak dresser tops to take around one month to complete, this is because we do everything by hand ourselves, from designing to kiln drying to manufacturing. We also like to ensure that our oak dresser tops are crafted to the highest possible quality.
