About Our Reclaimed Wood Bar Tables

Our unique rustic, reclaimed wood bar tables are designed and hand-crafted in-house by our experts with over 35 years of industry experience under their belt. We provide a unique all in one service from our timber yard and workshop in Plumpton Green, Sussex, just a short drive from London and Brighton. From designing, to vacuum kiln drying and  handcrafting, we do everything all under one roof to create our reclaimed live edge wood tables.

To design and make our boho -modern tables, we use remnants and offcuts of our earthy English hardwood slabs that we source from sustainable woodlands and private estates across the UK. We then vacuum kiln dry the slabs on-site to ensure stability and longevity and fuse each offcut together using epoxy resin to create a charismatic quirky look guaranteed to add a unique sense of natural feel to your home or business.

Like with all our wide range of waney edge kiln dried wood furniture, we infuse the beautiful imperfections of the timber with epoxy resin, such as the knots, cracks and striations to create beautiful glassy details throughout revealing unique elements of nature with the possibility of some in-grown tree bark too. We can incorporate a variety of different wood edgings each adding their own sense of style, such as our natural styled waney/ live edge which follows the natural shape of the tree for a more bohemian and rustic appeal, or for a more modern contemporary appeal our straight/ square edging. Alternatively, we can offer our mixed edging for a combination of both edging styles.

We offer two main finishing options to aid and protect your stunning reclaimed wood, bar height office table. Either a clear transparent lacquer which acts as a thick barrier against damage  and works to maintain the natural tones and textures, or a colour enhancing oil-based finishing. Our oil-based finishing protects your surface by penetrating the layers of the timber and creating multiple films throughout and enhances the autumnal tones to create stunning golds and oranges.

Whilst our reclaimed table tops are also available to buy without legs, we highly recommend buying them alongside our hand-crafted solid wood table tops. This is because our table legs are individually designed and calibrated to the exact size and weight of your table to ensure maximum stability and strength. Our legs are available in a variety of different shapes and materials from aged steel trapezium shaped to U shaped brushed steel.

Whether your desired environment is modern and contemporary or rural and rustic, our high tables are guaranteed to suit all styles and with the right finishing, we can craft our tables to suit commercial environments too, such as pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, hotels and office spaces. We can also craft our beautiful reclaimed solid wood tables alongside other products, such as our bespoke wooden shelving, live edge breakfast bars, rustic oak worktops, bespoke window sills and kitchen island worktops to create a unique set of bespoke matching furniture for your home or business.

We estimate each of our waney edge reclaimed oak tables to take around one month to complete, this is because our bespoke solid wooden furniture is crafted from scratch to the highest possible quality. Once your home bar /office table is completed it will be then ready for dedicated delivery or collection from our workshop.
