About Our Walnut Bar Tables

Our earthy modern walnut bar tables are designed and hand-crafted in-house by our experts using our extensive range of vacuum kiln dried walnut slabs from our timber yard and workshop in Plumpton Green, Sussex. Our bespoke wooden bar tables are unique in every way and show off its stunning resin infused voids and beautiful earthy grains, guaranteeing to add a strong sense of natural feel to your home or business.

We use our extensive stock of natural walnut slabs that we exclusively source from sustainable woodlands  and estates across the UK, we then vacuum kiln dry them onsite to ensure maximum longevity and protection against warping and splitting. We hand pick our beautiful walnut planks for their unique features. We adore the natural imperfections of the wood, such as the knots, cracks and striations, and infuse these with epoxy resin to create beautiful glassy details full of character and interest. Our natural walnut tables are available with a series of different edging styles, from straight/ square for a more traditional modern contemporary look or our waney/ live edging for more bohemian appeal which follows the natural shape of the tree. Alternatively, we can offer our mixed edging for a combination of both edging styles.

Whilst our natural wood tables are also available to buy without legs, we highly recommend that you buy them with our own hand-crafted legs. This is because many table legs on the market are not suitable to support our unique table tops. Our legs are calibrated to support the exact weight and size of your stunning solid wooden table top and are available in a variety of different shapes and materials.

Our beautiful walnut resin tables are suitable for all types of environments whether it be a modern and contemporary apartment,  traditional English home, With the right finishing, our solid wooden tables can be made suitable for commercial use too whether it be a pub, restaurant, bar, coffee shop, hotel or office space. We offer two main options for finishing, either a clear transparent lacquer which is most suitable for maintaining the original earthy tones and textures, or a water-based oil which enhanced the natural colours to reveal stunning gold and oranges. Our waterproof, natural wood mat finish is available at an additional cost.

We also offer complementing live edge furniture alongside our tables such as our earthy walnut shelves, worktops, kitchen islands and breakfast bars and if two or more of our products are bought together, we can craft them from the same tree to make a unique bespoke set of matching counter tops for your home or business.

Each of Earthy Timber’s walnut tables takes around 1 month to complete this is because we like to ensure each product is finished to the highest quality. This is also because our products are crafted completely from scratch.
