We use live edge oak slabs that exclusively source from sustainable forests and woodlands across the UK and vacuum kiln dry them on-site to ensure maximum longevity and protection against warping and disfigurement. To craft our river oak table tops we join together our live edge slabs and infuse them using our own blend of epoxy resin. We hand pick each unique wood slab for its natural markings, such as its cracks, voids and knots and fill these with epoxy resin to create stunning glassy details guaranteed to add strong element of frozen nature to your home or business. We recommend the use of our own table legs – see section dining tables –  in this way we can ensure your solid wood table top is adequately supported. Our table legs are made to order and carefully calibrated to the exact size, type of table top construction and its weight.

Our stunning wood river table tops are available with 3 different types of edging styles each bringing their own sense of style and detail. For a more modern and contemporary effect, we can offer our more tradition straight/ square edging style, or for a more rural and rustic appeal, we can offer our waney/ live edging which follows the natural edging of the tree giving a more rural and rustic appeal. Alternatively, for a combination of both edging styles, we can offer our mixed edging.

Our stunning rustic oak river tables are suitable for all environments whether it be a modern and contemporary apartment or a rural and rustic styled cottage. With the right finishing we can create your stunning and bespoke oak dining table to suit commercial environments too, whether It be for a pub, restaurant, hotel, coffee shop, office space or bar. We offer two mains finishing options for you to choose from, each with their own protective properties and visual effects. For those wishing to retain the original earthy tones and textures, our clear lacquer finishing works to protect your solid wooden surface by create a thick shield like barrier over the top. Alternatively, we can offer our oil-based finishing which works itself into the layers of the timber to create an infusion of oil-based protection throughout. Our oil-based finishing also enhanced the natural colours of the timber to create stunning golds and autumnal tones.

We can create any of our other solid wooden products alongside our oak river table tops such as our earthy oak shelving, live edge oak worktops, kitchen islands and solid wood bar tops. When two or more of our stunning oak furniture pieces are commissioned together, we can craft them from the same tree to create a bespoke set of matching furniture for your home or business.

Each of our unique oak river dining tables takes around one month to complete. This is because we provide a service like no other in that we do everything, all under one roof making our tables truly bespoke. This time frame also enables us to have to the time to ensure that your stunning bespoke oak river table is completed to the highest quality. Once your unique solid wooden table is complete, it will then be ready to be delivered via dedicated delivery, or collection from our workshop.
