About Our Reclaimed Solid Wooden Tables

Our beautiful and unique reclaimed wooden tables are designed and hand-crafted in-house by our experts with over 25 years of industry experience under their belt. We provide a unique all in one service from our timber yard and workshop in Plumpton Green, Sussex, just a short drive from London and Brighton. From designing, to vacuum kiln drying to handcrafting, we do everything all under one roof to create our stunning and bespoke reclaimed solid wooden tables.

To create our modern and contemporary tables, we use remnants and offcuts of our earthy English hardwood slabs that we source from sustainable forests and woodlands across the UK. We then kiln dry the slabs on-site to ensure stability and longevity and fuse each offcut together using epoxy resin to create a charismatic quirky look guaranteed to add a unique sense of nature to your home or business.

Like with all our stunning range of earthy slabs, we infuse the beautiful imperfections of the timber with epoxy resin, such as the knots, cracks and striations to create beautiful glassy details throughout revealing unique elements of nature with the possibility if some bark thrown in there too. We can incorporate a variety of different edgings each adding their own sense of style, such as our natural styled waney/ live edging which follows the natural shape of the tree for a more rural and rustic appeal, or for a more modern contemporary appeal our straight/ square edging. Alternatively, we can offer our mixed edging for a combination of both edging styles.

We offer two main finishing options to aid and protect your stunning reclaimed wooden table. Either a clear transparent lacquer which acts as a thick barrier against damage and corrosion and works to maintain the natural tones and textures, or a colour enhancing oil-based finishing. Our oil-based finishing protects your surface by penetrating the layers of the timber and creating multiple films throughout and enhances the autumnal tones to create stunning golds and oranges.

Whilst our reclaimed tables are available to buy without legs, we highly recommend buying them alongside our hand-crafted legs. This is because our legs are hand calibrated to the exact size and weight of your table to ensure maximum stability and strength. Our legs are available in a variety of different shapes and materials from stainless steel trapezium shaped to U shaped matching wood.

Whether your desired environment is modern and contemporary or rural and rustic, our tables are guaranteed to suit all styles and with the right finishing, we can craft our tables to suit commercial environments too, such as pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, hotels and office spaces. We can also craft our stunning reclaimed solid wooden tables alongside our other products, such as our shelving, breakfast bars, worktops, windowsills and kitchen islands to create a unique set of bespoke matching furniture for your home or business.

We estimate each of our solid wooden reclaimed tables to take around one month to complete, this is because our bespoke solid wooden furniture is crafted from scratch to the highest possible quality. Once your solid wooden table is ready it will be then ready for dedicated delivery or collection from our workshop.
