We craft our stunning wild walnut river tables using full stave, wide stave slabs that we exclusively source from sustainable forests and woodlands across the UK and vacuum kiln dry them on-site to ensure maximum stability and protection against warping and disfigurement. To create the iconic river effect, we use two live edged slabs set apart and centrally infilled with epoxy resin. We hand pick each plank for its unique markings, such as the knots, cracks and striations, which we then also infuse with epoxy resin to create beautiful smooth glassy details adding character and interest to your stunning oak river table. Our beautiful bespoke walnut river tables are available with a series of different edging styles each with their own unique stylistic properties. For a more modern contemporary feel, we can offer our straight/ square edging or for a more rural and rustic appeal, we can offer our waney/ live edging which follows the natural shape of the tree. Alternatively, for a more subtle approach to our live edging, we can offer our mixed edging which combines elements of both edging styles.
