About Our Oak Slab Tops

Our beautiful range of earthy oak slabs are ideal choices for crafting bespoke earthy oak dining tables, kitchen worktops, islands and breakfast bars, coffee tables, desks and more. We also supply our slabs raw for you to buy and finish at home. Our earthy oak slabs are available in any shape or size and are of the highest quality.

We source our solid wooden slabs from sustainable forests and woodlands across the UK, we then vacuum kiln dry each slab to ensure maximum longevity and protection against warping and disfigurement. We individual hand pick each slab for its natural imperfections, such as the knots, cracks and striations. We then infuse each natural imperfection with epoxy resin to create stunning glassy details full of character and interest. Alternatively, we can supply your earthy oak slab completely raw.

We provide our stunning oak slabs with any of our edging styles. For a more rustic and natural appeal, we can supply our slabs with our live or waney edging style which follows the natural edging shape of the tree, or for a more traditional modern and contemporary style, we can offer our straight or square edging. Alternatively, we can supply the slab with a combination of both edging styles, known as our mixed edging.

Our slabs are available to buy unfinished and raw if you prefer to finish it yourself, or we can finish it for you. We provide two finishing options for you to choose from, either our oil-based finishing which perforates the surface of the slab to create several layers of protection through, or our clear lacquer which instead, acts as a thick shield against damage and corrosion. Our oil finishing also enhances the natural colours and tones to create stunning shades to vibrant oranges, golds and yellows, whereas our lacquer finishing is more ideal to maintain the original earthy tones and colourings.

Each slab takes around one month to craft and finish, this is because our processes such as our kiln drying takes time to ensure the highest quality is being achieved. Once your solid wooden slab is finished we will then contact you to let you know it I ready for collection from our workshop, or alternatively for dedicated delivery.
